Money Pizza is an promotional concept for an imaginary pizza chain that sells a $5 pizza. The magnetic fridge-based coin keeper holds $5 in change. As its creator, artist Matt Brown, says, “The concept eliminates the shame people feel when they pay for something all in change. No counting involved with this, both cashier and customer know exactly how much money there is on that pie.”
If I owned a pizza place, I would definitely use this. (via Slice)

These are the business cards that Lego gives it employees. They even match the gender, hair color, etc for each person. Not sure how convenient they would be to carry around, but still very cool. (via iso50)

The water in the Ivanhoe Reservoir was being contaminated by a reaction caused by sunlight and birds, so the community came up with a solution that solved both problems. They released hundreds of thousands of plastic balls, called “Bird Balls”, to cover the surface. The balls block the water from the sun and birds are averse to them. Make sure to check out an article at Curbed LA for interesting facts about the project. (via 37signals)
