I rarely make up my own recipes, but tonight we had enough stuff laying around the kitchen that I out together a pasta that turned out really good.
Recipe:
- First I diced a shallot and cooked it in olive oil and butter until it was soft.
- Added 1 clove of garlic and cooked for about 1 minute.
- Poured in about a cup of chicken stock and let it reduce over medium heat for about 6 minutes.
- Added some shrimp.
- Seasoned with salt, pepper, crushed red pepper.
- Added pasta (I had spaghetti on hand) and some pasta water to the pan.
- Let it go for a couple minutes then added bread crumbs and parmesan.
